Healthy Veteran Highlights • December 2023

Dear Friends of the National Center for Healthy Veterans at Valor Farm,

What a productive year! Having just celebrated our Third Anniversary, we are truly amazed to see the progress God and generous donors and volunteers such as you have allowed us to achieve in such a short time.

For starters, 2023 has been a year of transition from capacity building to caregiving. 2021 and 2022 were characterized by building tiny homes and other critical infrastructure, while early Veteran residents lived in barn stalls as we provided gallant, but fledgling assistance to the Veterans under our wing at Valor Farm. In 2023 we made great leaps with our program structure and resourcing, as well as the addition of talented professionals to execute our holistic program keyed to physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and relational wellness. In essence, we are now achieving excellent care commensurate with the excellent infrastructure we continue to develop at Valor Farm. This excellence of Veteran Care has become our true intellectual property as an organization, representing a unique integration of Community (tiny home living and Veteran culture), Growth (curricula and work), and Care (professional counselors, coaches, chaplains, case managers, and other medical assets).

I hope you enjoy this Impact ReportThe real “return on investment” is the changes we see in Veteran lives daily as they journey to wellness and lives of contribution. Thank you again for helping us “Return Healthy Veterans to America.” They truly are America’s untapped national treasures!

I would be remiss not to mention our continuing need for your faithful support. Please consider a year-end gift, or a commitment to provide a recurring donation this next year. Just as our team digs deep to provide the care and guidance our Veterans need, we pray you will provide the resupply and encouragement we need to continue our momentum into this next year.

With gratitude and great anticipation of progress in 2024,

Robert F. Dees
Major General, U.S. Army, Retired
NCHV President & CEO
